TechSmith Camtasia Studio Review
June 4th, 2008 | by kfinney |I have just begun to test the Camtasia Studio as a result of many recommendations and some of the webinars that I attend use the very same software. As a matter of fact, the video at the end of this post was done using the software and I must say at this point that I really like the software. It’s actually a well bundled software and extremely easy to use. I didn’t bother going through any tutorials and I was up and working in no time. Most techies don’t read tutorials or readme’s although sometimes we probably should! This is one of those programs that just works and you really don’t need to read anything. For production of your clips everything is pretty self explanetory. I suppose for some advanced techniques or editing functions you may want to read or go through a tutorial but, I am not at that stage at this point. Also, my mic doesn’t work too well so no sound in my clips right now. I recommend you hit this LINK right here and download a trial. You will be presently surprised by what you can do and the possibilities that it presents. Oh, and don’t forget to check out the clip. It’s actually, not too bad! Oh, and you need flash to view it!!

I’ve been using Macromedia Captivate.. It works fairly well. Simple not much to it and produces good results. It would be something I recommend also..

Great recommendation. Another product that does a great job at what it’s designed for.
