Affiliate, as defined by Webster’s Dictionary, means “to connect or associate oneself.”
Here at Tech Affiliate, we love technology. So much so that I think we are affiliated with technology. Everyday people like you and I use modern technology all the time. In this day and age everything is online.
When I was growing up, I got introduced to computers at a fairly young age. Probably about 11 years old. Now, the age is likely to be a lot younger! I loved Legos as a kid so it stands to reason that I liked building things. I used to get old parts from my Uncle and piece together old PC’s for use as whatever you liked. I loaded Windows 95 on a few, if you remember that, I loaded some unix variants, even loaded the often not talked about Windows ME. So in a way this was my conduit into IT. I set up home networks with wires all over the place and just played around with parts! Now I work in the IT field and since then I have learned quite a bit about different technologies, services, software, and Operating Systems. Tech is an everyday affair for me and I love being affiliated with it. So here at Tech Affiliate, you won’t find the latest news, you won’t find the best gadgets and gizmos either! At Tech Affiliate you will find an everyday user and a well versed IT Professional discussing topics concerning the work place and the everyday affiliations with technology and what it has to offer.
